Lone Star Hosta is a compact shade-loving herbaceous perennial primarily grown for its dramatic basal foliage. The lightly waved leaves are a green with bold chartreuse margins that intensify to gold in bright filtered light.  The tall scapes of near white bell-like flowers raise up above the mound in mid-summer attracting butterflies and pollinators.  Best color in part sun and moist well-drained soils.
